Welcome to DebugALot! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of DebugALot (the “Service”), a code analysis platform operated by Liljeforce AB.

2. Service Description

DebugALot is an AI-powered code analysis platform that:

  • Analyzes GitHub repositories for security vulnerabilities and code quality issues
  • Uses artificial intelligence to provide insights and recommendations
  • Generates AI agent prompts to help you improve your code

The Service is currently in private beta and is under active development.

3. Beta Service & “As Is” Provision

Important: DebugALot is currently in beta testing. This means:

  • The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind
  • Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
  • Analysis results are AI-generated suggestions, not professional advice
  • We make no guarantees about availability, reliability, or accuracy
  • Service interruptions may occur without warning

You use the Service at your own risk. We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or issues that may arise from using the Service or relying on its analysis results.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Have a GitHub account
  • Authorize our GitHub App to access your repositories
  • Provide accurate information during registration
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. GitHub Integration

By using DebugALot, you authorize us to:

  • Access your GitHub profile information (username, email)
  • Read repository contents that you explicitly add to the Service
  • Access metadata about your repositories (names, privacy status)

You control which repositories we can access. You can revoke this access at any time through your GitHub settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Upload malicious code or use the Service to distribute malware
  • Abuse the Service through excessive requests or automated access
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

Your Code: You retain all rights to your source code. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Access and analyze your code
  • Share your code with our AI service providers for analysis purposes only
  • Store analysis results in our database

Our Service: DebugALot, including our website, analysis algorithms, and generated reports, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers, including:

  • GitHub for repository access and authentication
  • Supabase for database and authentication services
  • Anthropic (Claude) for AI-powered code analysis
  • Google (Gemini) for AI-powered code analysis

Your use of the Service is also subject to these providers' terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party services or their actions.

9. Data Processing

We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • Your code is analyzed by AI services (Anthropic, Google)
  • These AI providers do not use your code to train their models
  • We implement security measures to protect your data
  • You can request deletion of your data at any time

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

DebugALot and Liljeforce AB shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any security vulnerabilities in your code that we fail to detect
  • Actions you take based on the Service's AI-generated recommendations

Maximum Liability: Our total liability to you for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the last six months, or (b) 100 EUR.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.

You may terminate your account at any time by revoking GitHub App access through GitHub settings or contacting us to request account deletion.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Privacy & GDPR Compliance

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other applicable data protection laws.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
